This is a view
of an underground
bathroom,
where Miss Missy
is often walking
under the mirror.
The pictures
shows three different
time phases of
Missy's life.
We perceived
her presence
deep at night,
from the X51 infrared
landing sensors system.
She was imprisoned
under a strong battery
of heavy sinks!
X51 is a very
silent ship and even
the engine vortex,
the biggest noise,
doesn't exceed
89 dB(A) in slow mode.
So, in pointing
and focusing
the parabolic
audio detectors,
we clearly heard her
desperate meowing.
What a luck! She survived without
any food and water
for about three days.
Nearby we discovered
her mother's body...
She was killed during a car crash
from a mad driver,
while she was running
to bring a bite of food
to her little
hungry child.
We immediately decided
to save her life!
The first picture
shows Missy
the day of the rescue,
after a cup of warm milk.
You can clearly see
her expression
of deep sadness.
In the last photo,
you can see
Missy today,
four months after..
at the end
of October 1999.
She is very much loved
in the base,
and also her
health conditions
are really good now!

Laserway Labs
there are a lot
of vitamins!)
